Sauber and Lotus have shown how competitive are the midfield cars as they shared the top spots on testing times at the final day of the Mugello test while Ferrari tested design changes on their car with disruption due to Alonso damaging the car going wide of the track.
All the teams performed well at the circuit but haven't had major changes except Ferrari. For lotus it was Romain Grosjean who clocked the best timings while for Sauber it was Kamui Kobayashi. Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel tested for Redbull with Vettel had the slightest of the pace than Webber. Massa did well for Ferrari being the fifth quickest and they hope he turns his season around with some good performances in Europe. Force India didn't manage to do well due to technical issues.
As the wait for the next race is due to end, the teams might shock the racing world are Sauber, Lotus and Ferrari.
