We are in to the last day of
the penultimate practice session before the races begin. There
are speculations about who is going to win races this year. The teams
especially Red Bull is secretive about their car performance making it
difficult to identify the front runners. Here is what we think about the pace
setters this year.
- One of the McLarens will be in the front row
- Lotus will win 2-3 races this year
- There isn't going to be a clear domination this year
- Force India and Sauber are likely to see podiums this year
- Ferrari to win the constructors and Kimi to win the
Drivers Championship
Ferrari is showing consistency for the year
Last year they just missed out on the constructors
just because of Massa not finding his form during early races. Ferrari didn't
change their drivers this year where the front runners McLaren and Mercedes had
a change. Alonso is far more determined to win the championship and Massa is in
relatively good form. The car looks comparatively better than last year.
Why not Red Bull?
Adrian Newey is the magic man who can turn things
around. He is less confident about this year having said about motivation. Does
Red Bull lack motivation? Does the over secretive culture suits Red Bull?
McLaren & Mercedes for 2014?
This is because they have changed drivers and are
heavily focusing on 2014. We will see Lewis coming good towards the later part
of the year.
It is too early to talk about constructors and
drivers championship. Gary Anderson, BBC's
chief technical analyst had the best predictions so far and will give us a much
better picture after the practice sessions.
