Formula One - Hamilton sets early pace at the rain hit Circuit de Catalunya


Jenson Button sums up the mood in the camp by stating that all teams in Formula One look out for competitor’s data and timings. We have just four days of testing to go and then straight to the preparations for the first race of the year, The Australian Grand Prix. With the top teams shying away from talking about how quick they are, we might be able to reach in to some conclusion about the early pace setters this year post this testing.


Highlights


- Lewis Hamilton sets the early pace


Hamilton spent time on the track more than any other driver today and was the fastest during morning session ahead of Massa


- The rain continues at Circuit de Catalunya


- Afternoon session, Webber, Perez, Massa and di Resta are out on track.

- Webber goes second fastest

- The track conditions are improving

- Intermediate tyres are on. The times are improving with Bottas goes fastest

- Adrian Sutil upbeat about Force India's chances of scoring points

- Webber goes fastest ahead of Hamilton

End of day 1 with Webber fastest on soft. Yet to say who will lock up the front row!!
