The first day of the in house testing at Mugello belonged to former world champion and Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso who clocked the fastest time on the circuit. The rain affected delayed session say Mark Webber finishing second for Redbull Racing.
The test involved all the teams except HRT whom are struggling with their pace and relocation plans. This is crucial for teams like Ferrari whom are not being able to put the car on the top slot for the race. The results give Ferrari a boot but the current leader Sebastial Vettel is yet to drive. For the teams whom have found the pace, it is about understanding the tyre very well.
